On Thursday 11th January 2018 our Fundraiser Julie and Ioana, the Deputy Manager at Pound Farm, attended a presentation to local charities organised by Heineken as part of their ‘Brewing Good Community Fund’.

During the visit the groups were hosted by Richard Hill from Heineken who provided a tour of their site at the Bulmer’s operation in Hereford. The attendees were later presented with a cheque by Alexander Brinkerink, the Head of Site which represented the total funding which will be shared between all the charities involved in the initiative (a representative of one of the charities attending is shown accepting the cheque in the header image to this post).

At lunchtime there was a chance to meet and chat to the employees that had nominated the charities for funding and Julie and Ioana were able to personally thank Jennie Butler from the Heineken Ledbury Cider Mill site for her support of Salters Hill.

This was a great opportunity to meet with Heineken and all the other marvellous charities involved in the fund that provide fantastic services for our county:
